🌟 America 250 NC Countywide Celebration

Location: Johnston Community College, Smithfield

Description: A countywide celebration with living history, children’s activities, craft and food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment. The musical 1776 will also be performed that weekend at Paul A. Johnston Auditorium.

🌟 State Annual Singing Convention
Date: June 26 to 27, 2026
Location: Benson Singing Grove, Benson
Time: Starts at 10 AM
Description: One of Benson’s most beloved traditions and one of the oldest gospel singing events in the country, bringing thousands of people together for Southern Gospel music. Admission is free.
