With 5 years of real estate experience helping home buyers and home sellers across Johnston County, North Carolina. I’m proud to be part of Stanley Premier Properties and LPT Realty, where I help my clients feel informed, supported, and confident through every step of the real estate process.

 

As a Johnston County native, I have deep roots in this community. Before becoming a Realtor, I proudly served Johnston County Public Schools for 30 years. I spent 15 years as a classroom teacher and 15 years in central office support, most recently as the Director of Digital Learning. That work gave me a strong understanding of our local schools, roads, neighborhoods, and communities.

 

Today, I use my local knowledge, education background, and real estate experience to help clients find homes that fit their needs, goals, and lifestyle. My background in education taught me how to listen, explain things in a simple way, solve problems, and support people through big decisions. Buying or selling a home is personal, and I want every client to feel prepared, cared for, and confident from start to finish.

 

Outside of real estate, I am happily married to my husband Jamie, of 35 years. We have two great kids, and they both have wonderful spouses — our “bonus kids.” I am also Mimi to two special little boys. I am an active member of Steven’s Chapel Baptist Church and the Central Johnston Rotary Club. I love traveling, reading, spending time with my family, and enjoying life with our sweet dogs.

I taught with Amy many years ago so she was already a friend. I knew I could trust her to guide my brother and myself through the selling of our mother’s home.
